From today, no more than six people from the same extended household will be able to meet indoors - as yet, meeting outside hasn't changed and our beer garden remains open.

We think this is the perfect opportunity to remind you of some of our existing rules:

- A one-way system is in place. Please enter through the main door. Follow the arrows to exit through the end door.

- Please regularly sanitise your hands using the stations provided (these are not broken or empty, you simply have to press the button all the way in).

- When ordering your drinks, ensure that you stand behind the tape on the floor (even when giving contact details) - this is for the safety of staff.

- Be prepared to give your name and phone number for Track & Trace before you order. If you don't want to give us your details that is your choice but you will not be served.

- Customers are to remain seated with their drinks at all times. Please don't stand when drinking or walk around unnecessarily.

We understand that these are difficult times and the new rules take a lot to get used to but they have been put in place for your safety and the safety of staff. Shouting and swearing at staff because they have reminded you of the rules or because you don't "believe in Covid" is unacceptable and anyone doing this will no longer be welcome at the Bridge End Hotel.
